What is up with Ana steel and not eating in the fifty shades of grey?

The girl dosen’t eat for like a day and when she does, she eats like 2 bites then can suddenly no longer eat, what the fuck?

I just don’t get how people could ever not want to eat, EVER.

Normal eating

So 2012 is the year i get my crap together. From around 14 or so i have had every single eating disorder ever invented at least once.  My weight has fluctuated so many times i am embarrassed to be getting back into my size 10 jeans as i can’t help but think what people around me are thinking (here she goes again).

I was a size 10 for a good 3 or so years but due to depression, heart break and a lot on in my life did i develop awful eating habits and go up to  a size 16. I am somewhere between a comfortable 12 and tight ish 10. I would love to be a 10 by the end of April.

Anyho, to anyone who has ever binged, restricted, purged, chewed and spat and want to get better (i know i can say yes to all of these >_,<) they don’t know how to eat normally.

I am going home this weekend to my parents house and i keep thinking “i want to eat like a normal person”. What is normal eating?

We are taught in schools what disorderd eating is. Type “normal eating” into google and you will be presented with either some generic healthy eating guidelines or what an eating disorder is.

I have never tried to eat normally before, im always going to count calories and eat healthy, yes.

I think that normal eating involves enjoying food and not fearing it. This is something that i have started to do.

It involves sitting down and tasting to food and seeing if you really like it, rather than are just eating it because its “forbidden” or particularly low in calories.

I have been doing this for the past two weeks and i found out that i like cookies, chocolate chip, not double chocolate chip are my favorites. I like cream because it lightens hot chocolate up but if i want a chocolate hit its nicer without it

And ice cream tastes best from an ice cream van beside the sea in good company.
